The Libre 2 Plus sensor works with the FreeStyle LibreLink app and the Libre 2 reader to constantly monitor your glucose levels.

Important Information: If you start your Libre 2 Plus sensor with your Libre 2 reader you will not receive real-time glucose readings, even if you use the updated LibreLink app as your second device. You will need to scan to get your glucose reading on both devices. Glucose alarms are only received on the device used to start the sensor.

Where can I buy it?

You can buy the Libre 2 Plus sensor on the FreeStyle Libre 2 System page.

Do I need to update my LibreLink app to be compatible with the new sensor?

If you are using the latest version of the LibreLink1 app, you will not have to update your app as the Libre 2 Plus sensor is a sensor hardware update.

The Libre 2 Plus sensor is compatible with the current LibreLink1 App and Libre 2 Reader.
