Less pain.1 More insights.

You get more glucose insights from each scan and better control2-4 of your diabetes management.

Why prick when you can scan?‡§

    • No finger pricks‡§

    • The sensor is discreet, easy to use1 and worn on the back of the upper arm for up to 14 days, so you can conveniently check your glucose anytime, anywhere.**

    • Better insights

    • The sensor automatically measures and continuously stores glucose readings day and night for a complete glucose picture.††

    • More control

    • The scans and reports show you how food, activity and medication affect your glucose levels in real time, so you can make better-informed decisions.

    • Remote monitoring

    • Your glucose data can easily be shared virtually to stay connected with your healthcare provider, caregiver or loved ones using the FreeStyle Libre digital tools.

How does flash glucose monitoring work?

Blood glucose meters take glucose readings from capillary blood with a finger prick. Flash glucose monitoring systems are different. Scanning the FreeStyle Libre sensor with a phone or the reader measures glucose levels from the interstitial fluid, a thin layer of fluid that surrounds the cells of the tissues in your skin.
