I started a FreeStyle Libre 3 Sensor but lost or need to replace my smartphone with the FreeStyle Libre 3 app installed. What do I do?
If you have a LibreView account, reinstall the FreeStyle Libre 3 app on your compatible smartphone, and sign in with your LibreView account. From the FreeStyle Libre 3 app, tap the Main Menu icon on the upper left corner of the Home screen (3 stacked horizontal lines), then tap “Start New Sensor” and scan your active FreeStyle Libre 3 Sensor you are wearing. Historical glucose information stored from the FreeStyle Libre 3 Sensor will be sent and viewable on the FreeStyle Libre 3 app.
If you do not have a LibreView account, you’ll need to replace your active FreeStyle Libre 3 Sensor with a new Sensor, then reinstall the FreeStyle Libre 3 app, and “Start New Sensor” from the app’s Main Menu.
