What does 'Flash' mean?

‘Flash’ reflects the fact that users can obtain glucose readings quickly by simply scanning the Reader or compatible smartphone with the FreeStyle LibreLink app over their FreeStyle Libre 2 Sensor. Flash glucose monitoring also provides a flash of insight to people with diabetes and their health care professionals.φ

φ For a complete glycaemic picture, scan your sensor once every 8 hours.
