What is the difference between a FreeStyle Libre apps and the LibreLinkUp app ?

The FreeStyle Libre apps34,35 are designed to be used by people with diabetes to carry out routine glucose monitoring using a compatible smartphone and a FreeStyle Libre sensor. 

The LibreLinkUp app21 is designed to be used by family, friends and caregivers. The app enables them to receive glucose data or glucose alarms on their smartphone. The LibreLinkUp app cannot be used to scan FreeStyle Libre Sensors.
