What happens if I lose or change my phone when using FreeStyle Libre 2 or FreeStyle Libre 3 App?
If you lose or change your phone, you must reinstall the app34,35 on a new compatible device and log in using your account credentials.
If you have an active sensor and need to reinstall the app, you can continue using that sensor until its expiration date by logging into your existing account.
You will not be able to view data from previous sensors in the newly installed app, but this data will remain accessible on the LibreView25 platform.
For the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, you’ll be able to restore the last 8 hours of data by scanning the sensor. With the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus, you’ll be able to retrieve all of the data on the current sensor (up to the last 15 days of data). Data captured by previous sensors will be available online by logging into LibreView.
