- Use the Omnipod 5 Controller† to start your FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus Sensor, connecting it to the Omnipod 5 System—so it is ready to begin automated insulin delivery‡.
- With our 15-day sensor, there’s no need to switch out a FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus Sensor midway through an Omnipod 5 Pod¶.

* Based on sensor features including up to 15-day wear period, accuracy data, and single-device setup with AID systems.
† The Omnipod 5 App is available on the dedicated Controller.
‡ An active Pod and a paired FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor are required to switch to Automated Mode. During sensor warm-up, the Omnipod 5 System will be in Automated: Limited state. When warm-up is complete and sensor glucose values are available, the Omnipod 5 System will enter Automated Mode, where the Pod uses sensor glucose values to make automated insulin dosing decisions every 5 minutes.

|| In order to receive alarms the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor must be connected to the Omnipod 5 System.
** Notifications will only be received when alarms settings are enabled and turned on and sensor is within [33 feet or 10 meters] of the reading device, unobstructed.
