Does the Sensor need to be calibrated?
No finger prick calibration is required. Unlike other sensor-based glucose monitoring systems that are currently available, the FreeStyle Libre Sensor is factory calibrated. Once activated, the Sensor starts recording glucose readings automatically after the 1-hour warm-up period.206
