Why do you need to scan if it has Bluetooth?
FreeStyle Libre 2 is FreeStyle Libre with optional glucose alarms. Like FreeStyle Libre to get a glucose reading you need to scan the sensor with the FreeStyle Reader. Users can take as many glucose readings as they want while the Sensor is being worn. In order to get a 24-hour glycemic picture, users need to scan at least once every 8 hours.
