The FreeStyle LibreLink app user must initiate the connection. Have the FreeStyle LibreLink app user open the FreeStyle Libre app on their smartphone, then: 

1. Open the Navigation Menu

2. Tap Connected Apps

3. Under LibreLinkUp, Tap Connect or Manage

4. Tap “Add Connection”

5. Enter your (LibreLinkUp user) first name, last name, and e-mail address

6. Tap “Add” to send the invitation. 

When the FreeStyle LibreLink app user sends the invitation, you will receive an email with instructions on how to download the LibreLinkUp app and register for an account. After you log into the LibreLinkUp app, accept the invitation to connect.
