Get everything you need to feel confident with your FreeStyle Libre systems, starting with a 1:1 phone call with a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). They can help talk you through set up, answer your questions, and offer personalized guidance tailored to your unique situation, including:

  • Putting on your sensor
  • Smartphone app# or reader† setup
  • Viewing your glucose readings in the Libre app#

You'll have the option to sign up for emails to receive ongoing support, including tips and tutorials, how-to videos, and articles to help you get the most out of your Libre systems, so you can make informed decisions that work for you.

To get started, ask your doctor for a prescription for the Libre 3 Plus sensor, then request a call with a CDE here.

You may not need an in-person visit to get a prescription. Call your doctor’s office or send a message through your patient portal to ask if they can send a prescription for one Libre 3 Plus sensor to a participating pharmacy‡.

The FreeStyle Libre 3 system includes the Libre 3 Plus sensor, Libre 3 sensor, Libre 3 app, Libre app, and the Libre 3 reader.

FreeStyle Libre 3 system is cleared to be used by children 4 years and older with Libre 3 sensor and 2 years and older with Libre 3 Plus sensor.

Medicare and other payor criteria may apply.

The Libre Support Program is available for patients with Type 1, Type 2, or gestational diabetes and/or caregivers supporting these patients. Patients ages 2-17 are eligible for the Program through their parent or guardian. The Program is not provided as any inducement for future purchases. This Program is void where prohibited by law. Abbott may modify or rescind this Program at any time without notice.

* Study was performed with the outside US version of the FreeStyle Libre 14 day system. Data is applicable to FreeStyle Libre 2 and FreeStyle Libre 3 systems, as feature sets are similar as FreeStyle Libre 14 day system, excluding alarms.

# The FreeStyle Libre systems apps are only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. Please check the Support section of our website for more information about device compatibility before using the apps. Use of the FreeStyle Libre systems apps may require registration with LibreView.

† The FreeStyle Libre systems apps and the FreeStyle Libre systems readers have similar but not identical features. Fingersticks are required for treatment decisions when you see Check Blood Glucose symbol and when your glucose alarms and readings from the system do not match symptoms or expectations.
