Do not ignore symptoms that may be due to low or high blood glucose. If you have symptoms that do not match the Sensor glucose reading or suspect that your reading may be inaccurate, check the reading by conducting a finger stick test using a blood glucose meter. If you are experiencing symptoms that are not consistent with your glucose readings, consult your health care professional.

How frequently does the Sensor capture and store glucose readings?

The FreeStyle Libre Sensor automatically reports the glucose concentration in the interstitial fluid every minute. It also automatically records the glucose concentration every 15 minutes1, storing that data in a rolling 8-hour log.  When the Sensor is scanned by the reader, the Sensor automatically transmits data to the reader via radio frequency identification (RFID) communication, conforming to the ISO 15693 RFID standard.
