Do not ignore symptoms that may be due to low or high blood glucose. If you have symptoms that do not match the Sensor glucose reading or suspect that your reading may be inaccurate, check the reading by conducting a finger stick test using a blood glucose meter. If you are experiencing symptoms that are not consistent with your glucose readings, consult your health care professional.

Are the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors different from the FreeStyle Libre sensors (skin adhesion, size etc.)?

The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor is based on the same wired-enzyme technology as the FreeStyle Libre sensor. The key difference is that the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor utilizes Bluetooth that enables the optional glucose alarms. The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor is the same size, colour and shape as the FreeStyle Libre sensor.
