How can I scan the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor with my phone?

Android:

Once you've fitted the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor onto the back of your upper arm, open the app and bring the back of your Android phone close to the sensor to scan (the actual distance depends on your phone). The size and location of the NFC antenna on Android phones vary depending on the manufacturer and model, so you may need to move your phone to find the best position to scan the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor.

Once you've found the optimal scanning position, wait for the app to emit two distinct sound effects or vibrations before removing your phone from the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor. The first sound effect indicates that the phone's NFC has recognized the sensor, while the second signifies that the scan is complete.

iPhone:

After you wear the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor on the back of your upper arm, open the app and tap one of the scan buttons to put your iPhone ready to scan. There are two scan buttons: a blue one on the home screen and a gray one in the upper right corner of most pages. Move the top edge of your iPhone close to the sensor until you hear a sound and/or feel a vibration, indicating the scan is complete. Do not remove your phone during the scan.
