The FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus continuous glucose monitoring sensor (hereinafter referred to as the "sensor"), when used with a compatible device, is suitable for individuals aged 2 years or older with diabetes (including pregnant women). The sensor and compatible device can replace traditional blood glucose testing in self-management of blood sugar, including adjustments to insulin dosage.

When children aged 2–12 use the FreeStyle Libre 2 system, supervision, management, and assistance in interpreting glucose levels should be limited to caregivers aged 18 or older.
