FreeStyle Lite test strips

The FreeStyle Lite meter is compatible with FreeStyle Lite blood glucose test strips with ZipWik Tabs. These blood sugar test strips are easy to use and require a small blood sample size. When the ZipWik Tab on FreeStyle Lite blood glucose test strips touches the blood drop, it breaks the blood surface and instantly wicks the blood into the strip.

Easy to install and set up

Installation

Download the software, then connect your FreeStyle Lite meter to your computer using the USB cable provided, and the software will prompt you to begin the installation process on the device. If you are not prompted, go to the Help menu and click Check for Updates.

 

Setup

No user accounts or passwords are required to set up.

Simple one-time report Preferences setup.

Create a report
  1. Once the software is installed, you will arrive on the Menu page. Connect your meter and click Create Reports.
  2. Create reports for this meter:
    1. Select or create reports. By default, all reports are selected. Select the reports that you want to create.
    2. Choose the time period for which you want to show data. For example, if you want your report to take into account the last two weeks, select: last 2 weeks.
    3. Click View.
  3. The report will appear on the screen automatically. Use your cursor to select other reports created.
Print a report
  1. Connect your meter and go to the Menu page. Either, click Create Reports or select the reports you want to print, then click Print. By default, all reports are selected. Select the reports that you want to create.
  2. Each day of the Daily Statistics report is printed on a separate page. For example, if 20 days of data have been selected, 20 pages will be printed.
  3. To limit the number of prints, adjust the timeframe period.
Save a report as PDF
  1. Once you have created your report, click Save.
  2. Choose where you want to save your report, give it a name and click Save.
  3. You can then send the report as an e-mail attachment to your healthcare professional.

 


 

Snapshot

The Snapshot report calculates and displays the average time spent above, below and in the specified target range, and includes up to six notes relating to important blood glucose trends.

Model Day

The Modal Day report shows the daily pattern of blood glucose levels over a specified data range, along with average total insulin doses, type of insulin used (basal or rapid-acting) and the corresponding calculator settings. All data within a date range is displayed on one graph to easily spot daily trends.

Daily Statistics 

The Daily Statistics report focuses in on a single day to analyze results and patterns in greater detail, providing an overview of blood glucose, logged carbohydrates and logged insulin data.

Logbook

The Logbook report provides a table of blood glucose readings, logged carbohydrate intake, and logged insulin doses, showing day-by-day results in a specified range.

Meal Time Events

The Meal Time Events report displays information specifically around pre- and post-mealtime blood glucose, as well as insulin and carbohydrate intake, to help spot mealtime trends.

Meter Settings

The Meter Settings report reveals current meter and insulin calculator settings as well as changes to the settings that occurred within the specified date range.
